Among all watches, the Cartier Santos de Cartier is my muse. My Santos Galbée XL is my favorite watch in my collection, so I’m always curious to see what new variations will debut among the novelties at Watches and Wonders. This year was particularly exciting because Cartier announced the new perfect replica Santos de Cartier Dual Time watches (or “Santos Dual Time” for short). I quickly called it one of my favorite releases from Watches and Wonders this year even though I hadn’t seen it in person yet. Let’s see how it holds up after a quick hands-on.
In that article, I already mentioned that its bigger size might be an issue for my 17cm wrist. Today, we’ll find out if that is indeed an issue. But first, let’s go over the specs and see how it compares to the rest of the Santos de Cartier family.
Size does matter
To start, the high quality UK fake Cartier Santos de Cartier Dual Time watches still has that squarish, curvy, sexy, and iconic case shape. The Cartier website states that it measures 40.2mm from side to side, which makes it slightly bigger than the regular Santos de Cartier in the large size (officially 39.8mm). However, I measured the large time-and-date Santos and the Santos Dual Time for myself and concluded they were both 37.5mm wide. I’m not sure why Cartier states otherwise. The dimensions on its website could be the width including the crown, but that seems unlikely.
Quick side note: I also checked the dimensions of the medium Santos. With my calipers, I got a width of 33.5mm, while the Cartier website states 35.1mm. I measured a lug-to-lug span of 42mm.
Anyway, the best UK copy Cartier Dual Time version watches is slightly thicker than the regular large Santos (9.4mm), but it’s still just 10.1mm thick. Like the regular large Santos, the lugs span 47.5mm from tip to tip, which is acceptable and means it will fit wrists of many sizes. I’ll get back to its wearability later in this review.
Brushed, polished, and convenient
As we’re used to with the Santos, its case is vertically brushed and has a polished bevel on both sides. The bezel is fully polished, and it flows into the brushed bracelet. You can size the bracelet using cheap Cartier replica watches‘ proprietary SmartLink system. It consists of tiny buttons on the inside of the removable links. When you push one, a pin will come out but not entirely. That way, you can remove links without losing any pins. The bracelet also features the QuickSwitch system in the end links. This allows you to quickly remove the bracelet with the push of a button and swap it for the included gray alligator strap without using any tools.
The sturdy butterfly clasp releases with push buttons, and the flush link with the logo allows you to close the bracelet from either side. It’s not as incognito and concealed as the friction-operated clasp on my Santos Galbée XL, but the push buttons are convenient.
A fourth hand and a second time zone in a sub-dial
As I said in my earlier article, the gray sunburst dial of the Santos Dual Time reminds me of a limited-edition Santos from 2002. That one also featured a gray sunburst dial, and it had white luminous Roman numerals. The Santos Dual Time only features lume on the hour, minute, and dual-time hands. The white railroad track sits slightly lower, just like the sub-dial at 6 o’clock for the second time zone.
That light gray sub-dial features concentric graining and black printing. At its 12 o’clock position is an opening for the AM/PM indicator. Finally, there’s a date window with a gray disc and white numerals at 3 o’clock on the main dial.
What I love is how the dual-time complication is integrated into the dial. You might know that the Santos Dual Time is powered by a modified Sellita SW330 movement. Most Swiss movements Cartier super clone watches with that movement simply have one extra hand on the main dial to indicate the second time zone. This time, the fourth hand is within a standalone sub-dial, which, in my eyes, gives it the attention it deserves.
In the hand and on the wrist
The day we had the Cartier Santos de Cartier Dual Time in the office, I was wearing my Santos Galbée XL, of course. I still prefer the squarer bezel on mine, but other than that, the current Santos is still a great watch. The deep sunburst texture on the dial is beautiful. The brushing and polishing is done well on both the case and the bracelet. In addition, the QuickSwitch and SmartLink features make it such a user-friendly watch. It’s nice when a watch brand pays attention to such details. They truly bring the 1:1 online replica Cartier watches to a higher level.
The Santos Dual Time is quite a lot bigger than my Santos Galbée, which is 32mm wide. However, it makes sense with the added complication. Still, I’m very happy with my smaller Galbée, so I was curious how the Dual Time would feel like on my 17cm wrist. Now that I’ve tried it, I must say it knows how to disguise its size very well.
The only way to find out is to try it on
For sure, compared to my Galbée XL, the Dual Time feels like a great beast. Then again, it somehow doesn’t look out of place. The way the case and bracelet wrap themselves around the wrist makes the AAA Cartier fake watches very comfortable. Again, it’s big, and it feels too big for my taste, but I don’t think it looks too big. But you can be the judge of that by looking at Max’s pictures.
Of course, whether you feel comfortable with a certain watch on your wrist is very personal. My conclusion for today is that if you didn’t think the Santos Dual Time was for you based on its dimensions on paper, you might still want to check it out in a boutique and try it on. First of all, the official dimensions don’t seem to be correct. Plus, the Cartier Santos de Cartier wears quite differently from any other Cartier copy watches wholesale site I’ve ever tried.
Final words
If you’re looking for a watch with a dual-time function and you like the Cartier Santos, then this new Dual Time is a very attractive candidate. It has all the sex appeal of the current Santos and adds a very popular complication. If you’re comfortable with its bigger size, then this Cartier replica watches shop is most definitely a winner.
